This film by Karthik Subbaraj is outstanding—a true breath of fresh air. Despite numerous recommendations from friends, I initially delayed watching it. The movie boasts an exceptional background score. Bobby Simha delivered a compelling performance and truly deserves greater recognition.

I first saw this movie as a child, expecting little, yet by the end, I was in tears. My father came in and reminded me that it was just a film, but it had completely drawn me in.

Best Indian adaptation of “The Godfather.” Ram Gopal Varma later produced similar adaptations with Gayam (in Telugu) and Sarkar (in Hindi).
